ABST 045 – CLOUD MANAGEMENT “Invisible Salad” CS

We are very happy to release one of our favourite actual bands: Cloud Management presents here a delightful contemporary abstract approach to electronic dub with motorik undertones. This K7 is built upon jams and studio rehearsals, arranged in a Mixtape style. But it doesn´t feel like a total improvisation. There’s a refining process, with the help of nectar of the gods, as they told us: “After throwing rough ideas and sketches together to flesh them out, there’s a process of remixing/resampling ourselves while drinking manzanilla”.

In our opinion, they found the philosopher’s stone: a perfect balance where the freshness of improvisation meets the savoir-faire of these experienced musicians.

You can sense their profound understanding of the teachings of masters such as Moritz von Oswald, Mark Ernestus, or Adrian Sherwood, applied in a fresh and personal way. Close your eyes and imagine blending Rhythm & Sound, Kreidler, Deepchord, and African Head Charge. It’s probably different, but not far away. And it breathes the beauty of the balance between the mechanical and the organic that we love so much at Abstrakce.
