His debut LP under the Umberto moniker is an analog masterpiece heavily influenced by the classic film score work of Goblin, except arguably better. Prensaje europeo del primer Lp de Umberto, proyecto en solitario de Matt Hill, y originalmente editado en cassette (agotado) y una edición para Permanent Wax también agotada. “From The Grave” es una increíble banda sonora falsa en el que a su vez se mistifica a la perfección las compuestas por John Carpenter, Goblin o Gianni Rossi. Aplicado amanuense en la reproducción milimétrica de ese ponzoñoso sonido electrónico, aunque sin la forzada dinámica de tener que perseguir otra narrativa que no sea la elegida por el propio Umberto. Aquí lógicamente no hay música incidental y eso la hace aún más un puto pasote.
